Health & Fitness Favorites

Many have been asking for links to my favorite health and fitness videos. I use these videos daily to stay strong and limber and to improve my mobility. You can find the full list below, or visit my YouTube channel for an introductory playlist to my favorite content creators.

Radio Taiso Japanese stretching: Yukari Osaka

  • When you learn the basic moves of rounds 1-3, you can get into her other videos in Japanese. The music will be your cue, and it won’t matter if it’s in English or not.

Lift with Cee: Cheryl Columbe

  • The key to these workouts is doing the same one three times a week. You’ll see your strength improve and your fitness soar. Check out her channel to find the playlist that’s just right for you. I like the 30-minute lists, but there are longer and shorter as well. Have fun!

Tone and Tighten stretching: Jared Beckstrand

  • If you have any pain or localized issues, you’re sure to find a solution on Jared’s channel. Check out all his videos, but don’t skip the stretching. You’ll see marked improvement if you use these videos consistently at least 3 times per week.

Deep squats: Vanja @ Movesmethod

  • Deep squats take time to master, but Vanja has some great tips for getting your feet flat on the floor quickly. It really is a game-changer for your knees, hips, and back.

Maybe these videos will be a jumping-off point for you. As you check them out, you’ll go down the fitness rabbit hole and find just the right program for you.

Fitness doesn’t have to be expensive. YouTube has so much to offer; if you are willing to put in the time and effort, you can reap the benefits.
